Capacity Development Officer
Report to: Capacity Development Manager (CDM)

Job Summary
Capacity Development Officer (CDO) works under the supervision of Capacity Development Manager (CDM). He/She must coordinate the planning and implementing processes of all CamboJA’s activities related to capacity development for CamboJA’s members, staffs and board of directors. The CDO will implement capacity development assessment and ensure quality of the design and the delivery of capacity development activities in compliance with all CamboJA, donor, partner, and project-specific policies.
- Implement capacity development activities in accordance with approved plans
- Work closely with CDM and other teams in organizing different kinds of capacity development projects/activities
- Organize logistics for capacity development activities, including securing catering and event space, preparing agendas and minutes
- Work closely with communication team to keep journalists (members & non-members) informed about CamboJA’s capacity building opportunities
- Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
- Collect and analyze data for performance monitoring & evaluation purposes
- Ensure gender issues are mainstreamed into all activities and capacity development initiatives
- Representing CamboJA in meetings and events
- Participate in meetings with partners and donors when required
- Participate in internal meetings and events organized by CamboJA
- Provide capacity development reports
- Develop pre- and post-test questionnaires if required for the trainings
- Write training reports if required by supervisor

- Bachelor’s degree in media management, human resource management, business administration or other related fields;
- Knowledge and understanding of implementing training, project management, and training manual development;
- At least 2-year experience working as officer or coordinator of projects related to trainings;
- Knowledge and understanding of monitoring and evaluation system;
- Good writing and oral communication skills;
- Fluency in Khmer & English;
- Computer literacy (MS Office);
- Teamwork and multi-culturalism spirit;
- Knowledge and understanding of gender issues;
- Knowledge and understanding of principles and practices of professional journalism;

Senior Reporter
Report to: Editor-in-Chief (EC)
Supervise: None
Status of Contract: One year with possibility to extend
Job Summary
Senior Reporter works under the supervision of EC. He/She must produce news stories assigned by editor/editor-in-chief.
- Produce news stories as assigned by EC
- Attend editorial meetings;
- Gather information, materials and interviews from sources to prepare in-depth and investigative articles in consultation with supervisor;
- Find daily story ideas by himself/herself in consultation with supervisor;
- Submit articles to editor or EC before deadline;
- Provide capacity building to staffs and partners
- Provide supports in trainings on related fields to reporters and freelance journalists;
- Provide inputs to develop and improve editorial policy for CamboJA’s newsroom;
- Provide inputs to develop journalistic code of ethics/guidelines and provide orientation to reporters, freelance journalists, and others;

- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related fields;
- At least two-year successful work experience in the position of news reporter;
- Successful experience in producing breaking news, in-depth reports, features, interviews, and investigative reports;
- Good interpersonal and written communications skills;
- Good computer literacy in MS Office programs and Khmer Unicode;
- Proficient in speaking, listening, reading and writing in English and Khmer;
- Effective use of social media networks and the internet for research and investigation;
- Wide understanding of social issues and capability to participate actively and critically in discussions;
- Ability to work overtime, on holidays or on weekends, and to travel to provinces when required;

Accountant
Report to: Finance/Admin Manager (FAM)

Job Summary
The accountant is responsible for implementing day-to-day accounting tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Support FAM in preparing budget plans
- Assist FAM in preparing global budgets
- Assist FAM in preparing project’s budgets
- Implementing daily accounting woks
- Maintain cash book and conduct monthly cash count
- Ensure cash advance is correctly matched with budget lines, activities, and donors
- Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
- Work closely with FAM to prepare voucher allocation by donors & budget lines
- Perform fixed assets register, review and reconciliation
- Responsible for all insurance payment
- Develop procurement plans and carry out procurement processes
- Check and post transactions on accounting system
- Assist in the implementation of new policies, standards, and guidelines
- Assist management in identifying areas of improvement within the organization and assisting with strengthening processes
- Support FAM to prepare financial report to donors
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- At least 2-year of accounting/finance experience, especially with non-governmental organizations.
- Good computer literacy across MS Office programs and QuickBooks or equivalent.
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
- Good verbal and written skills in Khmer and English.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Admin Assistant
Report to: Accountant/Finance and Admin Manager
Supervise: None
Status of Contract: One year with possibility to extend
Job Summary: Admin/HR Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and financial supports to Finance/Admin Manager.
- Provide financial support
- Work with Accountant to maintain complete and accurate inventory and procurement reports to donors
- Assist FAM or accountant to scan and copy document to donor or other party as required
- Respond to all fund transfer, deposit, bank statement, updating passbook, sending payroll & payroll confirmation, and other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Prepare letter to bank for revising or replacing the new bank signatories
- Monitor and spot check all receipt payments with project staffs and regularly report to direct supervisor
- Assist with data entry of financial transactions into systems
- Provide administrative and procurement supports
- Assist in procurement processes
- Aid with bookkeeping, logistics, maintenance and asset management
- Record staff leave (A/L, S/L…)
- Check both timesheet allocation and pay slip
- Assist program teams with planning and arranging events, including organising catering and booking venues
