The Multisectoral Food and Nutrition Security (MUSEFO) Project is a part of the Global Programme Food and Nutrition Security, Enhanced Resilience under the “One World – No Hunger” Special Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project is currently being implemented in 11 countries in Africa and Asia: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mali, Togo, Yemen and Zambia. The project aims to make a significant contribution to reducing poverty and hunger. A particular emphasis is placed on food and nutrition security for women of childbearing age and young children.
A multisectoral approach that combines measures in the areas of health, nutrition, and agriculture is being implemented in three fields of activity: (1) integrating and improving the quality of nutritional services in the health sector; (2) diversifying food production and raising awareness among the population of food and nutrition and basic hygiene; and (3) embedding successful approaches at the national and sub-national level on the nutrition governance.
Along with the project goal and objective, the MUSEFO project is motivated to support the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) in responding to the food insecurity situation that effected by Covid pandemic. In this regards, MUSEFO project is looking for a qualified consultant services to support the project as well as RGC on this endeavour.
