Campaigns & Communications Officer (1 Position)

Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced Campaigns & Communications Officer with a passion for communications and campaigns, to join our passionate team to assist in carrying out our fundraising goals! 

Campaigns & Communications Officer Schedule: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week (7.30am – 11.30am to 1.00pm – 5.00pm). 

Location:  Thlok Andoung, Sla Kram, Siem Reap, Cambodia 

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Execution of major campaign content across all platforms
  • Coordinate partnerships and public relations activities related to campaigns.
  • Manage campaign donor relations and reporting to the Board and Program Director.
  • Review content for campaigns and ensure funds reconciliation.
  • Organize local event logistics for campaigns.
  • Support the Communications Co-ordinator and provide guidance to the Communications Support Officer.
  • Work alongside the Program Director & communications coordinator to develop and implement successful fundraising strategies throughout the year.
  • Manage donor relations and communication together with the Program Director, Communications Coordinator & Advisory Board members.
  • Data entry/fund tracking within donor base CRM (Salesforce).
  • Contribute to donor reporting, circulate donor reports, and collaborate with Program Director to ensure programs yield donor-relevant impacts.
  • Support the execution of in-country fundraising charity bike rides each year
  • Act as ambassador for REACH, liaising with prospective partners, donors, and volunteers.
  • Execute effective marketing strategy to increase global reach. Contribute to and/or host post-campaign webinars/presentations about REACH to donor base.
  • Report to Program Director in regular department meetings.
  • Review the creation and management of online fundraising pages.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in NGOs or in a similar role
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent copy writing skills in line with our brand strategy
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in written and verbal English
  • Non-native speakers with an IELTS band score of 7 or higher encouraged to apply
  • Strong desire to grow, learn and make a difference

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Contribute to donor reporting, circulate donor reports, and collaborate with Program Director to ensure programs yield donor-relevant impacts. 
  • Spearhead copywriting for all social media platforms, ensuring engaging and impactful content that aligns with REACH's brand and objectives. 
  • Copywriting and editing content for program reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compelling storytelling of REACH's impact. 
  • Oversee the production of organisation communications such as blogposts, ensure website copy is current, design marketing materials (flyers, info packs, PDFs etc.) 
  • Support in-country and international fundraising events. 
  • Act as ambassador for REACH, liaising with prospective partners, donors, and volunteers (both local and international) 
  • Coordinate the creation of compelling multimedia content for campaigns, ensuring that copywriting and visual elements align. 
  • Provide guidance and feedback on the visual elements produced by the media team to ensure they align with the written content and overall communication strategy. 
  • Contribute to and/or host post-campaign webinars/presentations about REACH to donor base. 
  • Research and write proposals for project grants/individual/corporate sponsorships. 
  • Oversee the production of regular program reports for sponsors. 
  • Report to Program Director & department coordinator in regular department meetings. 
  • Review videography/media for all major campaigns, website & internal donor relations. 
  • Collaborate with program staff to gather information and stories for reports, website updates, and social media content. 
  • Ensure that all written content adheres to REACH's brand guidelines and child protection policies. 
  • Social media content generation across REACH's platforms and oversight of intern/assistants' management of SM accounts to increase daily engagement and following. 
  • Work alongside the Program Director & Communications Co-ordinator to develop and implement successful fundraising strategies throughout the year. 
  • Manage donor relations and communication together with the Fundraising Team and Program Director 
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Experience living/working in Cambodia and knowledge of the culture and local Khmer language  
  • Experience working within an NGO  
  • A degree or equivalent in marketing/communications/graphic design 
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent copy writing skills in line with our brand strategy 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
  • Fluency in written and verbal English 
  • Non-native speakers with an IELTS band score of 7 or higher encouraged to apply 
  • Strong desire to grow, learn and make a difference
