Call for Quotation (CFQ) for Communications and Multimedia Storytelling Consultant/Firm
- Career Category: Consultancies
- Location: Phnom Penh
For more than two decades, VVOB Cambodia has worked closely with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) to strengthen teaching quality, support teacher education reforms and advance equitable foundational learning. The SMILE programme, focused on early grade mathematics and teacher professional development, has been central to these efforts since 2022, alongside complementary initiatives such as PTOM (Personalized Teaching to Overcome Marginalisation), blended CPD for teacher educators, mentoring and coaching initiatives, and multiple research and evaluation studies.
As the SMILE programme comes to a close in 2026, ensuring strong documentation and clear storytelling is essential to support knowledge transfer, continuity and sustained ownership by MoEYS and partners.
The consultant/firm will be responsible for synthesising programme evidence into language suitable for a non-technical audience, capturing stories from partners and project participants and producing a package of communication products, including but not limited to written articles, human-interest stories, and short documentary-style videos. The aim is to elevate the voices of teachers, education leaders and partners while demonstrating the impact of SMILE and VVOB’s long-standing collaboration with MoEYS.
This assignment requires a consultant or firm with strong skills in both strategic communications and multimedia storytelling, capable of producing high-quality written and audiovisual content.
