PROJECT LOCATION: Wat Phnom Library located in Wat Phnom Kid Park, Preah Ang Yukanthor Street (19), Phnom Penh 120211

DESCRIPTION:

Building renovation to setup the Phnom Penh Smart City Hub (PPSCH) for the Capital Municipality.

The Phnom Penh Smart City Hub is the first hub of Phnom Penh Capital Administration to showcase pilot project s related to City & Smart City implementation, to serve as an exhibition, interactive place, and collaborative meeting & working area for City actors.

Phnom Penh Capital Administration is the contracting authority and final owner of the PPSCH. Meanwhile, invoice for the payments will be addressed to Association Internationale des Maires Francophones (AIMF).

SCOPE OF WORKS:

Renovation of the existing Wat Phnom “Library” Building.

The building as an approximate floor area of 275 sqm.

The main list of works is including (but not limited to) raising the floor, modifying / creating some openings, removing creating walls, renovating / improving part of ceilings & ensuring roof waterproofing, painting, redoing electrical network, creating toilet block and according septic, providing & installing air-conditioning, fans, and other specified equipment.

The EDC electricity supply may need to be upgraded according to new equipment requirement, the new toilets and water network need to be connected adequately to the city network.

The contractor will have to ensure that all material and equipment are fitting with required specifications. The worksite and construction process will follow quality compliance, safety and security for workers and the public, planned schedule will have to be followed, weekly meetings to monitor progress and inspect site will be organized, weekly progress reports and challenges highlight will be provided by the contractor, site will be maintained clean, delivery of material and removal of debris will be properly organized, … etc.
