Business Manager

Position Summary

Job Purpose: The role is to assist the Chairman in driving business operations, assisting the department leadership team to implement strategic initiatives, tracking and reporting on company performance targets delivery through our strategic program, and acting as liaison for various business routines. Ultimately, the role assists the Chairman to enhance decision making processes, facilitate high-level communications, drive critical projects, ensure business continuing success, and best in class business practices that are vital to sustainable growth of ISI Group. Position holder are motivated and mature leader who thrives on creating a climate of inclusion, challenge the status quo, strategic thinking, and problem solving. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels in both verbal and written, including communication with shareholders, board and external parties.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Executive Office Management
  • Lead initiatives as part of Transformation/Strategic program for Executive office
  • Support the implementation of Integrated Business Planning process and track its effectiveness through improvement plans
  • Support Internal control team to review and track business risk register, and their mitigating action plans
  • Assess and identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective business •Provide updates on laws, regulations, economic and market news related to ISI Group
  • Communication Management
  • Be the point of contact and liaise with cross departments across the group of companies and external stakeholders between the Chairman
  • Support in administrative and meeting arrangements/preparations and summary of action plans for the Chairman
  • Facilitate communication flows and ensure all management teams are aligned with the chairman’s office
  • Arrange and maintain the chairman’s schedule, ensuring optimal allocation of time to business priorities
  • Support the CEO to public relations and media release
  • Project Management
  • Oversee specific projects as assigned by the chairman, ensuring timely completions
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather project status updates and report
  • Make recommendation on company structure, resources, process, and system to deliver initiatives
  • Strategy Management
  • Align and consolidate strategic initiatives from all department leadership team while ensuring consistency of company’s goals to all operational plans
  • Support the design business strategies and plans to meet the company goals Deliver and track company scorecard on regular basis to the Chairman and board
  • Communication Requirements:
  • Internal:
  • Provide direction to cross department to ensure they can manage their own tasks/teams effectively
  • Meet with the management team and internal stakeholders to update the company performance and target to meet the business objectives
  • Engage with different stakeholders to build/implement any specific projects or tasks
  • Build and foster relationships across business functions and locations to ensure they are engaged and informed no matter where they are based.
  • External:
  • When necessary, make presentations to investors, business partners and company executives concerning the overall project status and progress, or on matters pertaining to different phases of the project
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers, tenants, vendors, suppliers, contractors, and consultants.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance or related field or relevant industry qualification
  • At least 5 years’ experience in business operations management or relevant managerial role
  • Proven experience with business and strategy development processes
  • Experience in Project management process or hold PM qualification
  • Experience in construction/real estate/hospitality/MNC is preferred
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Languages: Khmer, English, and Mandarin
