Business Finance Officer

Position Summary

THE ROLE

As a Business Finance Officer for our social businesses, based in HQ in Phnom Penh, you will:

  • Run day-to-day operations and ensure accurate finance records
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, and support budget management

(i.e. preparation, forecasting, follow-up, etc.)

  • Ensure compliance with financial standards and relevant tax laws
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Implement a financial system with processes to support a growing business model
  • Monitor budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support various business functions and prepare financial reports ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Train and supervise Cashiers in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, empowering them with the skills to manage daily financial tasks
  • Work closely with and manage a Business Finance assistant, providing strong, transparent, and accountable support services
  • Assist the team at the "Unlimited Shop" in improving their sales recording and tracking processes, helping them grow their impact
  • Work with our new ChildSafe initiatives to support them in running their finances
  • Coordinate with Vocational Training Business Managers, providing clear financial insights into their operations to help drive business success
  • and others.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent
  • English - Good
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • A skillful finance professional with experience in business service sector
  • A native Khmer speaker with good English skills
Soft Skills
  • A dynamic team player who is passionate about working for the protection and education of marginalized children, youth and their families
  • A clear and concise communicator with high ethical standards
  • A positive, results oriented individual eager to take initiative
  • A resourceful problem solver who thrives in environments with limited resources
 
 

Creative Program Coordinator

Position Summary

Do you want to use your event-planning skills to make a social impact? Are you excited to collaborate with the creative community here in Phnom Penh?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, then you may just be the person we need.

THE ROLE

As a Creative Program Coordinator for F3, you will:

  • Collaborate with Friends teams to plan and deliver creative activities
  • Organize and coordinate a variety of activities, including small-scale exhibitions, performances, concerts, workshops, and incubation programs for young creatives
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work with the team to develop and implement a yearly event and space programming plan
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth event execution (furniture set-up, equipment, catering and promotion)
  • Build and keep relationships with artists, partners, mentors, and collaborators
  • Act as the main contact point for incubated projects and support their integration into the ecosystem
  • Manage space rental enquiries, client communication, and site visits
  • Coordinate with Admin and Finance teams on contracts, invoices, and payments
  • Represent Friends Futures Factory through media, podcasts, and social media when required
  • And others.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent
  • English - Good
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Experience in event coordination, especially in the creative industries
  • A native Khmer speaker with good English skills
Soft Skills
  • A dynamic team player who is passionate about working for the protection and education of marginalized children, youth and their families
  • A clear communicator who enjoys collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable talking in public to media or partners and representing F3
  • Strong organizer who can manage times and priorities independently
  • Interested in arts, culture, and youth startups
  • Able to work flexible hours following the schedule of events
