Business Development Director
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The key role of Business Development Director will drive the overall implementation of strategic growth initiatives, develop market opportunities, and build long-term partnerships to continue positioning the Company as a leader in the rice market.
Working closely with the KFG senior management team, the tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the Company’s strategic expansion directions;
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including expansion into high-margin domestic and international markets;
- Provide strategic supports and inputs to key departments including marketing/sales department, finance/account department, and production department to ensure respective strategic actions for each department are well developed and implemented to achieve desired results in a timely manner;
- Explore diversification opportunities in rice and related rice products, including develop engage strategy and business plan, and present it to the senior management team and the Board;
- Conduct market intelligence and analysis to anticipate industry trends, assess risks, and guide decision-making;
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust business strategies to maintain a competitive edge, including oversee pricing to maintain competitiveness while maximizing profitability;
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including farmers, distributors, buyers, and government, donor agencies, and investors to explore their interests to provide support the Company.
- Act as the company’s representative at industry conferences and events to strengthen its market presence;
- Report regularly to the assigned Vice President, and interface with the Board of Directors when needed.
- Perform other works as assigned by the Company.
- Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Finance or related field, a Master’s degree preferred;
- Minimum 7-10 years experiences in business development, sales, international trade, while having at least 3 years in management role within the rice sector or other agribusiness;
- Comprehensive understanding of the rice milling industry, supply chain operations, and international trade regulations;
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business growth strategies;
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills, with ability to build trust;
- Analytical mindset with experience in market research, risk assessment, and strategic planning;
- Strong personal and people leadership with flexibility and adaptability to diverse environments and culture, while deliver efficient, productive, and high-performance result;
- Demonstrated capacity to network and work with a wide range of stakeholders, including businesses, international organizations, business support institutions, including business associations and training entities, and government; and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; while knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Vice President Assistant to provide comprehensive support. The ideal candidate will facilitate the efficient operation of the office, manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage the Vice President’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the Vice President. Handle correspondence, and screen incoming calls and emails.
- Document Management: Prepare, compile, and distribute documents for meetings, presentations, and reports. Maintain an organized filing system both electronically and physically.
- Meeting Support: Arrange and support meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, ensuring follow-up on action items, and managing logistics.
- Project Assistance: Support the Vice President in project management tasks, tracking project timelines, and coordinating with other departments or external stakeholders.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute events, including team meetings, conferences, and special events as required.
- Expense Management: Oversee expense reports and manage budget allocations for office and travel expenses.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and professionalism.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an administrative or executive support role, ideally supporting senior management.
- Skills:
- English Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Advanced proficiency in Chinese is considered a significant advantage
