SFP is seeking a Business Development Analyst to support the business development and delivery of current business advisory and investment engagements with our clients across key focused industries.
The key role of Business Development Analyst is to support the works in assessing business opportunities, researching leads, analyzing financial ratios, evaluating operation and business performances, and developing improved business strategies.
- Proactively identify business opportunities with target clients in the key focused industries;
- Support the analyzing business operations and strategies to identify areas for advisory engagement with potential clients;
- Analyze key financial ratios and markets to support the development of financial models and business strategy and potential investment opportunities.
- Conduct IDD research, analyze, present and document drafting elements of a developing transaction;
- Support the design of advisory engagement, develop pitch decks, and advisory and investment memorandum;
- Support the delivery of advisory engagement to the clients;
- Support the management of investment portfolios and advisory engagements in execution phase and prepare regular notes to the management if needed; and
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Banking, Business or other related fields;
- Previous working experience in financial modelling, business development, business advisory or investment is a plus.
- Self-motivated individual with strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability;
- Excellent command of English language is mandatory; and
- Fluent in MS Office including Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint.
- A qualified fresh graduate or student currently studying in year 4 could also apply.

Roles and Responsibilities
The role of Investment Analyst will provide daily technical support senior members of the investment team and is responsible for providing analytical and operational support on potential investment opportunities and transactions.
- The role of Investment Analyst will provide daily technical support senior members of the investment team and is responsible for providing analytical and operational support on potential investment opportunities and transactions.
- Work as part of the Investment team to provide in-depth analysis of investment transactions;
- Analyze key financial ratios and markets to support the development of financial models and business strategy and potential investment opportunities, including assess the economic value of potential investment deals.
- Perform valuation methodologies comparative analysis and discounted cash flow analysis on target assets;
- Conduct IDD research, analyze, present and document drafting elements of a developing transaction;
- Develop pitch decks and investment memorandum;
- Support the presenting and defending proposals before the investment committees to obtain and executing its approvals. Actively supporting the closing of transactions to ensure that the conditions agreed are included in the documents;
- Supporting the negotiations of investment conditions (i.e., price, shareholders rights, representation in corporate governance) and preparing the legal documentation;
- Identifying business prospects with hands-on support in project/deal structuring. In addition, participate in reinforcing a network to facilitate deal sourcing and relationship building with potential clients and other stakeholders;
- Support the management of investment portfolios and advisory engagements in execution phase and prepare regular notes to the management if needed;
- Research and analyze market data on transactions and using property data to support assumptions and acquisitions; and
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Banking, Business or other related fields;
- Minimum three years of experience working in finance, investment banking or corporate finance or corporate/business advisory;
- Financial modelling skills is a must;
- Self-motivated individual with strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability;
- Excellent command of English language is mandatory;
- Fluent in MS Office including Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint; and
- Regional experience is advantageous.
