The Business Acceleration Expert is responsible for ensuring good quality in the project implementation, helping businesses accelerate the growth of operations to give a positive impact to the people and communities of Cambodia.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility for the following areas:
- Assessing, monitoring and evaluation potential SMEs for acceleration.
- Identify, provide, and organize business support to selected businesses.
- Together with the entrepreneur, develop business plans looking at different scenarios of growth, quantitative achievements, and short, medium, and long-term financing needs.
- Assist the entrepreneur in turning ideas into viable businesses by developing the concept, the business case, identifying the impact, the market, and finding partners.
- Facilitate professional and ethical growth of the partners
- Initiate meaningful capacity building of partners.
- Purposeful networking with government agencies and other organizations on a local level
- Deliver plans and reports requested by project manager.
- Attend relevant ESO networks, meetings and workshops.
- Contribute to organizing and facilitating workshops, training and other learning events.
- Contribute to development and branding of the MABD
- Internal resource person for context analysis,
- We expect you to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of running business in Cambodia.
- Good analytical and time management skills.
- Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills in English and Khmer.
- Excellent organizational skills

- Commitment to teamwork, reflection, and personal learning
- Solution-oriented and proactive when faced with problems and gaps in information
