Bookkeeper & HR Administrator (1 Position)
We are looking for a qualified finance, bookkeeper & HR administrator with a minimum of 1 year of experience with excellent computer literacy skills.
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday

- Maintenance of accurate records of all the organisation’s financial transactions utilising both internal systems and the organisations accounting software package (QuickBooks).
- Preparation Monthly Financial Statements including Balance Sheets, Income Statements & Profit & Losses.
- Reconciliation of all staff monthly receipts to ensure compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements as well as the organisation’s policies and procedures.
- Reconciliation of Monthly Bank Statements
- Monthly and annual tax reporting and e-filing.
- Preparation for the annual audit of accounts as well as assisting the auditors whilst they conduct their annual checks.
- Assists in the preparation of the annual budget as well as quarterly reforecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
- Quarterly and Annual financial reporting to the Board as well as assistance in the production of the Annual Report.
- Liaison with the relevant Government ministries as and when required.
- Translation of reports from English to KH for internal and external purposes
- Organize and maintain personnel files to ensure information held meets both regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Keep up-to-date internal databases including the recording of staff planned and unplanned absences including timekeeping.
- Review and revision of organisational HR policies and procedures.
- Preparation of regular reporting on agreed HR statistics.
- Preparation of employment contracts for new hires and extensions for existing staff members including the submission of regulatory requirements to the appropriate government departments.
- Assistance with the onboarding of any new staff hires.
- Management of staff movement and all relevant annual registrations to the Ministry of Labour (visas/workbooks/work permits)
- Prepare and lodge monthly NSSF health insurance claims
- Assist the Program Director and Program Managers with the preparation of paperwork necessary for the undertaking of staff annual appraisals and subsequent follow-up meetings.
- Assist line managers in the undertaking of any disciplinary/grievance procedures that may be undertaken.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other relevant fields (graduated or nearing completion)
- Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written English and Khmer.
- Appropriate qualification in accountancy/bookkeeping is necessary to fulfil the role.
- A minimum of 1-year experience in a bookkeeping role.
- Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements for accountancy and tax filing.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent computer literacy skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Suite.
- Confident, outgoing, passionate, and will fit in well working with a progressive, dynamic, and creative team in an NGO setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills & the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Computer Literacy Trainer (1 Position)
We are looking for a Computer Literacy Trainer to support our team by providing free digital education to impoverished children and youth in Siem Reap.
Teachers with excellent computer literacy skills or people with technical skills / ICT Qualifications and a passion for helping others, are encouraged to apply.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday
Monthly training: 1 full day on Saturday

- Prepare weekly lesson plans, activity planners and teaching resources required to suit the course syllabus.
- Take care of the translation of documents from English to Khmer.
- Ensure all the equipment in the Computer Room is appropriately maintained and students are monitored while using it.
- Record daily student attendance in line with internal organisational processes.
- Teach lesson plans by following Reach’s educational framework.
- Support and observe individual students learning behaviour both inside the classroom, and during other activities they undertake whilst present at the school.
- Where necessary, make referrals to the Department Manager for any concerns or issues regarding individual students.
- Motivate and encourage students to engage with all activities within your course and the school.
- Promote ethical behaviour amongst all students, always leading by example.
- Prepare the materials and resources required for the activities to be undertaken in advance of daily classes in line with the lesson plan for that day.
- Prepare student report cards every semester.
- Undergo ongoing training workshops hosted internally and externally by other organisations.
- Work alongside any foreign volunteers who may be assigned to Classroom Assistant duties.
- Conduct yourself in a manner both inside and outside of the workplace which promotes the values and ethos of REACH.
- Assist other REACH colleagues where collaboration is necessary to achieve inter-departmental goals.
- Fluency in verbal and written Khmer
- Excellent communication skills both in spoken and written English
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
- Work experience within NGOs
- Ability to work well with children and gain their respect
- A clear understanding of child protection and local laws
- Must have experience in the use of Microsoft Office Package
- General knowledge about computers and the use of the internet and social networks (privacy settings and anything else concerning account security)
- Ability to provide technical support, computer literacy training to team and to perform regular hardware / software checks, highly desirable
- Must be able to solve problems related to computers with easeConfident, ongoing, passionate, and an individual who wants to work with a progressive, dynamic, and creative team in an NGO setting.
