Assistant Sales Manager – On Trade

Position Summary

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Pernod Ricard Cambodge commercial ambition includes the focused development of the On Trade channel where the Group’s brands must be heavily promoted and activated to engage various target consumers. The On Trade channel is key in facilitating consumer recruitment and conversion into the Pernod Ricard portfolio of Premium brands, ensuring sustainable growth of the Group in this market.
  • Reporting to the Head of Sales, the incumbent will be responsible for delivering brand objectives both quantitatively (volume and profit) and qualitatively (visibility, activation, consumer engagement) for all contracted outlets. He/She will review performance of the PR CAM universe of outlets and recommend appropriate commercial strategy to his/her manager: revisit all investments, define commercial strategy and plans that enable to block competitors on our leading categories and catch up market share over competitors on growth relay categories.
  • The incumbent is responsible drive sales to Key Wholesalers who will distribute authorized PR CAM products to Contracted Outlets. He/She will also have the responsibility to drive Key Wholesalers to expand PR CAM business in non-contracted outlets serviced by Key Wholesalers, aka opening new outlets. The incumbent will build solid business plans (sales forecasts, A&P forecasts and marketing plans) with each Key Customer.
  • The incumbent will coach and manage a team of 1 direct report (Sales Executives) across all On-Trade channels: TOT, HEB, LEB, RES, and NC. He/She will also have to establish credibility to coach and manage sales teams, supervisors, managers of on trade Customers who support the depletion of PR CAM products.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for specified net sales targets and/or key brand volumes across the On Trade Channel to be disclosed during on-boarding, with the understanding to grow sales year on year.
  • Aside from managing the on-trade team, the incumbent will also directly manage all Customers under the following channels:
  • International Hotels/Resorts
  • Any Customers under Regional or Global partnership arrangement with the Group
  • Key Missions include but are not limited to:
  • Key Accountability to drive volume, net sales and CM, as well as to manage A&P funds.
  • Manage sales in Contracted Outlets in order to develop profitable business for PR CAM
  • Drive major PRS Brand Activations
  • Manage wholesalers in a professional manner through designing and implement business plans by wholesaler: sales and A&P forecasts, usage of their marketing funds, monthly brand activation calendars, training and coaching of their salesforce
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Job Requirements:
  • Degree holder with formal business qualifications or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-7 years working experience in sales
  • Experience in liquor, luxury or FMCG industry is a plus
  • Computer literate Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to use Khmer, English and Chinese for business communication

Brand Executive

Position Summary

Department/Division: Marketing Department

Report to: Brand Manager

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Brand Manager, the Brand Executive will be responsible for assisting the execution of strategic and annual brand plans for the assigned brands to meet with its set budget. He / She will assist the Brand Manager in implementing consumer activations to achieve market share objectives.

The incumbent is accountable for liaising closely with relevant parties internally and externally to ensure the right execution of brand directions and successful implementation of all planned brand activities within agreed budget and timing.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Brand Activation: Support the Brand Manager via:
  • Coordinating with appointed activation agencies
  • Implementing approved ATL activities (media, PR and sponsorship)
  • Implementing BTL activities in line with the brand plan / global brand direction.
  • Monitor competitors brand advertising, activities & promotions and provide summary report to Brand Manager
  • Maintain clear and orderly filing of relevant marketing documents
  • Work with Trade Marketing to prepare and deliver key brand communication materials as required for the brand activities
  • Execute any ad-hoc marketing tasks assigned by the Brand Manager in line with delivering marketing objectives
  • Communication and interaction: Assist Brand Manager to manage efficient communication to get the best support internally and externally
  • Be a team player to the marketing team, and work closely with the commercial team, as well as other departments in Pernod Ricard
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with the commercial team and external Distributors to communicate a coherent brand identity in merchandizing and promotion activities
  • Assist Brand Manager to manage creative / brand / advertising in delivering quality and professional services.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • Degree holder with formal business qualifications or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in marketing or event management agency
  • Proactive individual with good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong effectiveness, result orientation and strong ability to adapt to change
  • Competency in spoken and written English
  • Computer literate and interested in digital technology
