Announcement Description

The ISPH project, output 5, Improving laboratory capacities in the health sector for quality assured diagnostics, supports 12 laboratory sites in strengthening the implementation of QMS. Amongst the 12 sites there is a wide range of capacities. Some sites have had no previous QMS implementation experience. For QMS implementation, it has been shown that range of mentoring activities (on-site mentoring, virtual training and in person workshops) contribute to success. In addition, QMS sustainability is more likely if we are successful to institutionalize a mentoring program.

Thus, m4h/IQLS is recruiting an Assistant Laboratory mentor for the the following purpose:

  • To recruit an assistant to carry out a wide range of activities required to support the in-country m4h IQLS team
  • To support laboratory activities at the 12 QMS implementation sites
  • To support the logistic efforts required to implement the agreed workplan including QMS mentor workshops, regional on-site mentoring workshops and the onsite mentoring
