Air Conditioning Technician
Position Summary Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities

- Assist experienced technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of air conditioning systems, including split systems, window units, and central air systems.
- Learn to diagnose malfunctions and perform basic repairs or adjustments under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Assist with regular preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts.
- Shadow experienced technicians on service calls to observe troubleshooting techniques and customer interaction.
- Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and assist with inventory management of parts and supplies.
- Participate in training programs and continuing education opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in HVAC technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical coursework or training in HVAC systems is preferred but not required.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in HVAC and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
