Accounting Manager
Location: International French School of Battambang
Reports To: School Principal and the board of the school
Job Summary: managing Accounts and HR coordination at the International French School of Battambang.
- Reporting to the school headmaster, producing various financial reports to the board.
- The school turnover is approximately 250KUSD per year

- Accounting Duties: Managing invoices, billings, bank operations and all transactions in general, and in particular.
- Encoding and registering transactions on QUICKBOOK.
- Manage accounting documentation, physical filing and filling on the server.
- Manage staff payroll, produce pays lips, issue payment to the staff
- Managing the school petty cash. Managing inventories
- Preparing, issuing and following school fees invoicing and payments by the parents, payments follow up and recalls.
- Reconciliate all general accounts to make sure all accounts well recorded accurately and consistency.
- Prepare and issue accounting and financial reports,
- Coordination with the schools banks
- Assist in preparing the school's budget, monitoring expenses, and ensuring financial sustainability.
- Managing the relationship with suppliers, vendors, contractors, process payments.
- Manage, produce and issue reports and payments as required for the tax, NSSF and other public entities as required by the board. Manage the interface with theses authorities.
- HR coordinator: Coordination of the schools employee’s administration, in particular:
- Records, ensure the visa and insurance foreign employee follow-up,
- Participation to assistance of the new expat staff at their arrival in Cambodia,
- Manage and follow the staff leaves, reimbursements etc.
- Support recruitment process and staff work follow-up,
- Ensure compliance with labor laws as requested by the school.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for staff and external stakeholders, suppliers, public offices. Work closely with the principal, the treasurer and the president of the school.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration,
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and HR/administrative roles.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, abilities to work alone, attention to detail, familiar with EXCEL and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Fully familiar with the use of accounting software QUICKBOOK.
- Language: Fluent in Khmer and English. Abilities to communicate and produce written reports in English. French skills is an advantage.
