Korea Eximbank is responsible for managing the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF), the Official Development Assistance (ODA) fund entrusted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Korea. EDCF was established in 1987 to support economic development of partner countries.
Since 2002, Korea Eximbank has provided concessional loans amounting to US$ 1.1 billion to the Royal Government of Cambodia in sectors such as agriculture, transportation, and water. The Phnom Penh Representative Office was established in 2012 to further enhance cooperation with the Royal Government of Cambodia.
