ERIKS Development Partner is a Swedish NGO promoting children's rights. ERIKS vision is to change the world by giving children the opportunity to realize their opportunities and to enjoy their rights. The NGO, founded in 1967, is based on Christian values. ERIKS carries out development projects for the promotion of children's rights to education, health and protection. In addition, it responds to humanitarian crises. ERIKS works in partnership with national NGOs for capacity building of civil society and a more relevant, effective and sustained implementation of its actions. In South East Asia, ERIKS operates in four countries; Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar. Some of the projects are financed by the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) through the Swedish Mission Council (SMC). Since 2012, ERIKS has a regional office for South East Asia in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where the, Regional Representative, Programme Monitoring Officer (PMO) and Financial Monitoring Officer (FMO) and a are based. The regional office monitors and support ERIKS NGO partners in the region, in collaboration with the Programme Coordinator (PC) of the South East Asia based in ERIKS headquarters in Sweden.
