Church Mobilization Project Manager
Duties
- Identify and develop new curriculums and resources relevant to the project. Prepare training materials, lessons and organize training schedules
- Mobilize and provide training on holistic development to local church leaders
- Lead and manage CMP coordinators and activities including project planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation, and financial management
- Ensure all activities are completed following the project timeline and achieving the project purpose
- Manage the project budget, including producing regular Field Expense Reports
- Participate in assessments and actively contributes to plans for the project expansions in existing and or new locations, based on needs
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationship with churches, partners and government sectors
- Ensure proper monitoring and evaluation of the project with regular field visits to follow up church action plans
- Oversee benevolence grants provided to churches for the implementation of their action plans
- Ensure the church is actively involved in identifying social issues within the whole community
- Responsible for completing monthly and annual project reports to Program Manager
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures
Requirements
- Degree in Community Development and / or related degree
- Strong project management skills and understand community development concepts
- Skilled in training groups, public speaking and small group facilitation
- Cheerful, diplomatic, encourager, concern for the spiritual well-being of the team
- Must be a strong Christian involved in church ministries
- Spiritual maturity; Ability to keep the focus of work on the overall goal of sharing the gospel
- Willingness to work in other provinces if required and travel to other project locations as needed
- Knowledge of health
- Ability to read and write Khmer and English, and especially good in English comprehension
- 3 years’ experience in leadership position managing development and mobilization projects
- Preferred
- Ability to write project reports and stories and concepts of proposal writing in English
- Diploma in ministry (Theology)
