Duties + Requirements
Project Manager for Community Health Program
 
  Duties
  • Manage overall implementation of integrated health interventions at project site
  • Lead staff in the development of effective strategies and approaches
  • Ensure joint planning/collaboration with gov’t partners, local stakeholders
  • Establish working relationship with the Government Department, International and National organization in the project area
  • Project Planning
  • Writing Report (monthly, quarterly and annually)
  • Monitoring the program implementation
  • Writing concept paper and project proposal
  • Assist the community health staff in their daily activities and build the capacity of project staff and partners
  • Coordinate the activities at the community level
  • Assist with training to communities: Health centers staff, Village Volunteers, Midwives and TBAs
  • Facilitate the Mobilization of local resources
  Requirements
  • Degree in social science and/or health
  • At least 3 years provincial project management experience, including financial and staff management
  • Experience with participatory approaches and community mobilization in health context
  • Experience of building effective partnerships with gov’t, NGOs, Health Centers and Community
  • Demonstrated skills in project planning, monitoring, data collection, analysis and report writing
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to the working situation
  • Excellent written and spoken English
