In partnershipBirdLife ,MinistryEnvironmentlocal stakeholders we are now enteringnew phaseactivities under new fundingcommunity conservationmonitoringthe Srepok River funded byMacArthur Foundation,ongoing species conservation activitiesLomphat Wildlife Sanctuarylocal communities funded bynumberdonors.

Field Coordinator will help manage, implementexpandPRCF’s programactivities innortheast, actingthe main PRCF representativeRatanakiri.

Duties + Requirements
Field Coordinator
 
  Duties
  • Facilitate and/or lead on key program activities (according to skills and experience)
    • Zonation of Lomphat Wildlife Sanctuary
    • Establishment and support for community co-management in Lomphat Wildlife Sanctuary
    • Community monitoring on the Srepok River
    • Community monitoring and protection of White-shouldered Ibis
    • Development of social and environmental safeguards for economic land concessions
    • Establishment and implementation of a small grants scheme for Srepok river communities
  • Liaise with program stakeholders and supervise local project staff and counterparts
  • Program administration, work planning, budgeting, reporting and accounting
  • Program development and strategic planning, including project design and proposal writing
  Requirements
  • Higher qualification (masters or above) in relevant subject
  • At least five years relevant work experience
  • Strong accounts and financial management skills
  • Written and spoken English and Khmer
  • Ability to be based in Ratanakiri full-time and travel to remote locations, often on foot
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to take the initiative
  • Good diplomatic and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with and form strong relationships with a range of project stakeholders
