CAMFEBAnow representing collectively over  1000 employers. We are  also  a  member  of  the  International  Organization  of  Employers  (IoE),  the  ASEAN  Confederation  of Employers (ACE), andConfederationAsia‐Pacific Employers (CAPE).  CAMFEBA  also  provides  professional  training  and  workshops  in  response  to  members’  needs  and  areas identified.

Executive Director provides overall leadershipCAMFEBA. This includes supervising dayday activities, strategic  support  to  staff  and  coordination  of  all  departments.     Executive  Director  is  supported  by  an active BoardDirectors whichthereprovide policystrategic advice.

  Duties
  • ADMINISTRATION
    • Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting the Board and staff with developing the annual work plan
    • Supervise the day to day administration in accordance with CAMFEBA Policies
    • Ensure reports and records are maintained in a timely manner
    • Negotiate contracts
    • Attend and coordinate Board and Committee Meetings and disseminate information
    • Present to the Board reports on secretariat operations, finances, planning, and other matters as identified
    • Quarterly evaluate the progress on the annual work plan and submit a report
  • HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
    • Ensure that all staff have work plans and supervise their implementation
    • Prepare employment contracts and maintain staff’s personnel files
    • Oversee workplace operations, including holding regular staff meetings
    • Promote effective communication at all levels
    • Act as arbitrator/mediator in work and personnel/personal disputes
    • Oversee administration of staff benefits
    • Monitor leave applications and leave usage and the overall leave plan for the year
  • FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
    • Monitor and analyze CAMFEBA’s financial management
    • Provide recommendations regarding effective utilization of CAMFEBA’s financial resources
    • Oversee the preparation of the annual budget
    • Identify funding opportunities and present to the Board of Directors for discussion and approval
    • Ensure that CAMFEBA’s Finance Department is completing reports on a timely basis
  • MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
    • Supervise all marketing and public relations activities
    • Develop strategies to attract more members
    • Develop a public relation program to promote CAMFEBA’s image and position
    • Develop marketing materials including writing articles for newsletters
    • Conduct research to explore members’ needs
    • Monitor and analyze the training sector both nationally and internationally
  • INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS
    • dentify labor‐related issues and advocate effectively with CAMFEBA members, government and other stakeholders
    • Facilitate dialogue between employers and employees and disseminate this information
    • Advise members of support available and/or decisions made by social partners and government
    • Establish information channels and information sources
    • Promote an understanding of the Cambodian Labour Law to interested people
  • TRAINING
    • Provide vision and strategic direction to the Training Department
    • Supervise an annual members’ training needs survey
    • Develop and supervise the implementation of a yearly training plan
    • Participate as a facilitator in training
      Requirements
    • Masters Degree in Law, preferably specializing in Labor Law and/or other commercial‐related laws
    • A minimum of 4 years of experience in managerial role(s)
    • Good Human Resource Management skills
    • Proven experience of networking with government officials, business associations, embassies, donors and the private sector
    • Proven analytical and decision making skills
    • Experience in legal research
    • Experience in presentation skills
    • Good knowledge on Cambodian Labor Law, the Labor Dispute Resolution process and the National
    • Social Security Fund
    • Have good facilitation and training skills
    • Proven experience in multi‐tasking with attention to deadlines
    • Good knowledge in MS Office Suite including Word, EXCEL, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access
    • Experience reporting on a timely basis to a Board or senior management team
    • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative and a good team member
    • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally in written and spoken Khmer and English
    • Be able to communicate effectively with people at different levels
    • Willing to work in challenging environment and outside of standard work hours
