Finance Manager with BBC Media Action

Duties + Requirements

Finance Manager

Duties

Oversee finance and procurement procedures and systems
Line-manage finance staff
Report to HQ and donors as required
Devise budgets, calculate forecasts, payroll, and tax returns
Orientate new staff about finance and procurement procedures and ensure that guidelines are adhered to
Prepare documents for internal and external audits

Requirements

Post graduate degree in finance
Proven track record of managing multiple budgets of significant scale from a variety of donors
Previous experience of ensuring compliance with international donors’ requirements and managing financial systems in the development sector
Experience of line-managing finance staff
Excellent written and spoken Khmer and English
Good interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and ability to use initiative
Full competency in Peachtree accounting-software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook are required
Desirable, but not required

Experience of EU, USAID or GFATM finance procedures
Experience of auditing
Knowledge of tax law
