Placement & Microenterprise Coordinator
Duties
- Manage the Social Workers in the TSEE team: Job placement/Microenterprise and Home Based Production Social Workers
- Participate in updating the standards of practice for Job placement/Microenterprise and HBP; and ensure that the team works based on these standards
- Work as a social worker with marginalized youths and vulnerable children/youth families to prepare their reintegration into society through employment or microenterprise and provide support to the team to do so: life skills education, medical care, counseling, emergency support, etc
- After placement, follow up the beneficiaries at their workplace (in employment or in their small business) and at their place of residence
- Update on ongoing basis information about the employment market and self businesses
- Maintain and develop good and consistent relationship with existing employers and identify potential new employers
- Coordinate and facilitate links with other Kaliyan Mith projects and necessary partners (government authorities, NGOs …)
- Facilitate information sharing with others KM projects social workers; make sure the team receives adequate training
- Record, report and share information about actions and results regularly with the TSEE Project Manager
Requirements
- University or technical school diploma
- Running a business or job placement or working within the hospitality, mechanics, welding, beauty or sewing industry
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
- Good level of English spoken is mandatory. Any other language is a bonus
- Management, good organizational, people and communication skills

Business Accountant
Duties
- Maintain the business bank account and business petty cash at Kaliyan Mith office – issuing of advances, expenses and receiving income
- Conduct random weekly checks on business outlets: counting cash, checking cashbooks, receipts
- Ensure vouchers accompany all income, expenses and advances with correct coding and supporting documents
- Posting transactions into QuickBooks using the FI Chart of Accounts, and maintaining all accounting records accurately and timely
- Issuing invoices to customers (local and international) as required by Business Team and ensuring payments made in a timely manner
- Receiving invoices from suppliers and ensuring payments are made in a timely manner
- Update the fixed asset registers, using extractions from QuickBooks. Facilitate the quarterly physical checking of assets, ensuring documentary evidence of checking
- Ensuring a transparent and effective inventory monitoring system set up and followed
- Implement all tasks in accordance with the Friends-International Finance/Admin Policy & Procedures
- To assist and work closely with other departments during special events of relating to Finance and audits
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting & Finance
- At least 1 years work expOriginally taken from the Bong Thom dot Com web siteerience in a business accounting environment
- Excellent knowledge and skills in Accounting and QuickBooks with: time management, Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
- English and Khmer language
