Duties + Requirements

Social Worker

Duties

Working with families to develop parenting skills
Supporting boys who have dropped out of school
Establish links with local schools and work towards reintegrating children
Outreach work with boys and young men
Facilitate Youth Club sessions
Counseling

Requirements

Social work/NGO/Child Protection experience required, minimum of 2 years
Experience in working with people at community level, especially youth
Experience in facilitating group discussions or workshop
Experience working with alcohol and gambling addictions
Excellent listening skills
Patience and empathy
Ability to work as a team and independently
Good English language skills, both spoken and written
Excellent Khmer language skills, both spoken and written
Computer Skills - Microsoft Office
