3D Animator
Duties
- Create an imaginary world filled with people, characters, nature, among others
- Develop scenes that are moving and interacting within an ever-changing environment
- Coordinates with client service, creative, and pulse production to bring a project from inception to release
- Designing models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects and the animation environments
- Develops timing and pace of character or object movement during the sequence of images (Called the animation) and ensuring they follow the soundtrack and audio requirements
- Working to production deadlines and meeting clients’ commercial requirements
- Teamwork as part of a broader production network, which might include liaising with the pulse production staff, designers, client services, website designer, etc
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal training in animation
- Experience: 3 years minimum in 3D Animation
- Be patient and be able to concentrate for long periods
- Be interested in art and design
- Technical Skill: need to be familiar with the latest software programs for graphic design and technical knowledge of animation software tools
- Creativity: knowing how to use these technical skills in useful but ultimately the 3D animator must eventually rely on their creative capabilities
- Story telling: be able to have a strong understanding of pacing, timing, character development and be able to create characters that can show a wide range of emotions
- Must be able to use 3D Maxs Software; Modeling, Rendering, Animation, and Visual Affect
