Duties + Requirements

Laboratory Microscopy Supervisor TB Project

Duties

Supervise the activities in the Kampong Cham Tuberculosis Laboratory for microscopy
Ensure that the sputum sample sent, are appropriate and quality manner
Follow up of the quality of Microscopy
Collect microscopy data, analyze and integrate its in KC TB Lab and Cheung Prey
Write Quarterly and Monthly report
Improve TB and MDR TB detection at KC Provincial level
Assessment of needs of peripheral laboratories (HC and district referral laboratories DRL)
Support / assist Laboratory Referent Manager
Follow the laboratory International testing operation procedures
Ensure the Laboratory maintenance, safety and hygiene
Facilitate communication between laboratory, hospital wards and health centers
Attend training session when planned by MSF

Requirements

At least 2 years working in TB laboratory is compulsory; knowledge of laboratory assessment is an advantage
A minimum of previous clinical laboratory supervision and management experience is required
Diploma as Lab technician or Pharmacy degree
Vocational training
Good communicative skills
Good educational, teaching skills
Management skills essential (dynamism, problem solving capacities/ initiatives)
Strong organizational skills
Fortitude and motivation
Good command of Khmer and English, French would be an advantage
Fair computer knowledge
