Duties + Requirements
Service Assistant Manager
 
  Duties
  • Assist all service staff (Mechanic) in all phases of their job descriptions
  • Work closely with the Sales Teams as appropriate to ensure proper stocking of fast moving (high use) parts
  • Ensure that service staff members follow safety policies and practices and that they report any and all accidents immediately
  • Conduct quality check on all completed jobs ensuring safety and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that all the necessary shop equipment/tool is in proper working condition
  • Ensure that customer's inconveniences, complaints and misunderstandings are dealt with fairly and quickly
  • Ensure that proper service sales techniques are being used
  • Meet with Sales 3S Manager on a regular basis to review current service group performance, set future performance objectives, promotional activities or any other matters
  • Communicate with customers before issues arise
  • Maintain accurate records and insure warranty parts retention following all company requirements
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with customers to encourage repeat business
  • Maintain reporting systems required by Managing director, Sales 3S Manager and the company
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with vocational and technical schools to enhance recruitment activates
  • Train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all service staff (Mechanic)
  • Maintain customer satisfaction above that of industry's average
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
  • Ensure that all service activities including market service, after sales service and troubleshooting procedure implemented effectively

  Requirements
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Two years of experience in Motorcycle repair facility
    • Two years of supervisory experience
    • Must possess knowledge of Technical issues
    • Must have a valid driver's license
    • Demonstrated customer service skills
    • Previous industry knowledge of overall operations, management and wholesale relations is preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of Access is preferred
    • Bachelor Degree or equivalent required
    • Technical Degree is preferred

      Duties
    • Responsible for the marketing of company products and services to the right market whether B2B or B2C
    • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
    • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
    • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
    • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
    • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
    • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
    • Determine and manage the marketing budget
    • Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
    • Develop pricing strategy
    • Liaison with media and advertising
      Requirements
    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
      • Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification

        Duties
      • Present and sell company motorcycles to current and potential customers
      • Ensuring existing dealers have stocks at all times
      • Serving dealers in a timely, efficient and courteous manner
      • Identifying sales opportunities
      • Following through and closing sales
      • Determining dealers’ requirements and advising them on appropriate products
      • Answering any technical questions about the products
      • Provide satisfaction to the customers
      • Identify and resolve customer concerns
      • Establish and maintain current customers and potential customer relationships
      • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made
      • Writing sales reports to 3S Sales Manager
      • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
      • Develop and implement special sales activities to increase sales
      • Perform the job frequently outside of the office on a daily basis, and
      • Other duties assigned by the 3S Sales Manager
