Duties + Requirements
Survey and Statistics Officer
 
  Duties
  • Collect and collate all necessary data for statistical reporting of company work
  • Create procedures for the effective creation and reporting of all statistical data and generated knowledge
  • Liaise with company staff to properly address all necessary knowledge outcomes from statistical data
  • Advise management on how best to obtain data and create necessary knowledge
  • Produce regular reports and conduct regular meetings on statistical outcomes
  • Create and conduct surveys with company clients, members and users to properly establish their service needs.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager in order to properly establish sales and marketing needs for the company
  Requirements
  • Clear understanding of mathematics and statistical analysis.
  • Very good level of knowledge of data collection and reporting
  • Able to understand SQL and create SQL queries
  • Good experience and understanding in the use of spreadsheets (e.g.: MS Excel)
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical software (e.g.: Statistics, SPSS etc.) an advantage
  • Good communication
    • Able to make clear and concise reports of findings
    • Able to easily liaise with colleagues and be able to:
      • Understand their requirements in terms of statistical outputs in order for them to know what direction to take their work
      • Effectively communicate conclusions of statistical analyzes to staff and management
  • Able to talk effectively with clients
  • Good working knowledge of English
  • Experience in conducting and managing surveys
  • Experience in market analysis techniques an advantage
  • Experience in web log analysis an advantage
