Duties + Requirements

Marketing Officer - Agricultural Products

Duties

Provision of market information to farmers and identification of market opportunities
Organization of post-harvest training and capacity-building of farmers on marketing skills
Support to vegetable production programming according to market demand
Capacity-building of village collectors for their small business development and networking
Linkage creation between collectors and farmers organizations
Setting-up and development of small supply chain with identified Restaurant and Hotel in Siem Reap
Organization of inter-professional workshop and other events
Monitoring, Evaluation and reporting
Other activities depending on project specific needs

Requirements

University Degree in Marketing-Business (a minimum of Bachelor Degree or equivalent) (experience on marketing of fresh agricultural products will be an assets)
At least 2 years of work experience related field
Fair English and strong Khmer communication skills (French speaking will be an asset)
Facilitation skills and computer skills (Word, excel, Internet)
Abilities for report writing
Strong motivation and dynamism
Good understanding of farmers livelihoods
Women are strongly encouraged to apply
Availability to work in Siem Reap (coming from Siem Reap Province will be an asset)
