HIV/Homecare Database Operator
Duties
- Entry data into system for all HIV and exposed patients followed up, admitted and discharged
- Ensure data integrity through accurate data entry, establishing data management procedures, regularly backing up data, maintaining security access, reconciling information through the use of reports, researching anomalies and making adjustments as necessary
- Take every opportunity to help HIV/Homecare team and provide homecare service to the homecare patients and the families, and to the community/orphanage
- Develops correspondence related to patient seeking information
- Assist in preparing required reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually) as required
- Provide support, training and information to staff regarding the content and use of the database
- Problem solves and troubleshoots the databases
- Assist Homecare team in scheduling follow-up visit for patients and families diagnosed with HIV
- Retrieves patient charts as needed from medical records department
- Maintains confidentiality of information in compliance with AHC policy
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or HIV/Homecare Department manager
Requirements
- A Nursing School or Bachelor degree in IT from a recognized institute or equivalent
- Database experience preferred
- Previous medical experience a plus but not required
- Good organizing skills
- Good computer skills in Advanced Excel, Database programming
- Good written and spoken English and Khmer
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
