  Duties
  • Among other tasks, the Emergency Community Mobilizer will be responsible to support the established Solidarity Fund Committees (SFCs) to
    • Create a union of interests and sympathies with the poorest people within the community, through regular and relatively small family contributions towards the Solidarity Fund
    • Ensure community involvement in making decisions regarding referral and transportation of patients
    • Ensure good management/accountability, and timely availability of solidarity funds for the poorest
    • Improve awareness of the existence, costs, and quality of services in both public and private health facilities
      Requirements
    • Experience in community mobilization
    • Experience in fund savings, micro-credit, finance, etc
    • Excellent communication skills (listening, facilitating, training)
    • Good organizational and planning skills
    • Monitoring and reporting skills
    • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques
    • Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Emails)
    • Good level of English
