Marketing Officer
Duties
- Assist in the development and implementation of TPC marketing strategies to promote the institution and its financial services. Contribute to long term marketing plans and strategies;
- Design, develop, and produce appealing and engaging materials in a variety of mediums (e.g., newsletters, brochures, billboards / signage, e-mails, website content, presentations, reports, etc.)
- Create and edit art, photographs, and other multimedia content for TPC marketing efforts
- Develop communication and advertising materials for visual and audio media (e.g., TV, radio)
- Provide support to the Senior Marketing Officer to enhance TPC’s brand and develop branding strategy
- Continuously monitor and analyze brand, competitive, and customer trends to enhance TPC’s brand equity and marketplace performance
- Participate in brand target setting initiatives and branding strategy reviews / operational evaluations
- Assist in developing TPC’s corporate communications with external parties, including clients, the public, investors, government organizations / representatives, and other groups
- Participate in networking activities within the Cambodian financial sector to market TPC products and services
- Assist in the development of partnerships and sponsorships for publicity events, such as contests, summits, and awards
- Assist in the planning and implementation of community events and other special projects undertaken by TPC; and
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Senior Marketing Officer
Requirements
- University level in Marketing, Business Management, or a similar field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, with retail banking and / or microfinance experience is a plus
- Familiarity with emerging issues related to microfinance in Cambodia
- Sales and Marketing: Knowledge of principles and methods for presenting / positioning, promoting, and selling TPC financial services
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in marketing and research Experience with the planning and implementation of market research, evaluation / assessment and PRA tools
- Knowledge of principles and processes necessary for the development and implementation of strong, company-wide customer service standards
- Graphic design and media development experience with strong artistic capabilities
- Excellent computer skills, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced publishing / graphic design tools, are essential. Knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS / SAS a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, visual design) with the ability to adjust to different types of audiences; and
- Reading / writing proficiency in both English and Khmer

Research Officer
Duties
- Develop a variety of questionnaires, prepare research proposals and produce research reports
- Analyze pricing position of TPC Loan products
- Conduct surveys/research on clients and the market such as client satisfaction surveys client exit surveys, market positioning (including brand awareness) and client impact
- Develop research reports with recommendations in order to improve the financial services offered by TPC
- Gather information on microfinance industry to update the Loan and Savings Product Matrix Report
- Carry out on-going monitoring and reporting of TPC market share in the Cambodian microfinance sector
- Collect and present the necessary data and information needed in the establishment of marketing and product development projects
- Assist in the development and implementation of TPC Marketing Plan and strategy
- Assist in the development and ongoing refinement of marketing and research guidelines
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned
Requirements
- At least bachelor’s degree in Marketing with strong Research background or related field
- Minimum of two-year survey and research experience or marketing tasks
- Good report writing skills
- Good communication skills (able to read and write in English and Khmer)
- Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, SPSS or other statistic applications)
- Good interpersonal skills; and
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision in both office and field
