Water and Sanitation Trainer (F T)
Duties
- Sharing the good news in our beneficiaries
- Providing the training to local churches
- Networking in local churches
- Helping the church member to have ability and confidence to share Christ in their communities.
- Plan, prepare and train the village development committee
- Set up the lesson plan and material for teaching
- Providing health promotion activities
- Acquire and collect training lessons and materials on basic health topics for trainers
- Assist team members in planning activities for volunteer programs.
- To teach, train and provide supportive supervision for new team members.
- Ensure regular water and Sanitation Project evaluations are undertaken, collated and included in end of term/year reports for village programs and MoRD as required.
- Liaise with provincial PDRD
- Liaise with other AOC’s program Coordinators and other agencies about water and sanitation matters.
- Ensure Community Health Development and Teams money spent is recorded, receipted and logged with the finance office each week.
- To work with AOC team Coordinators, to plan and prepare for visiting teams in our provincial area.
- Translate as necessary
- Give input into development projects
- Attend formal and informal training sessions and provide to coordinator and others as required with reference to content and practical application.

- Demonstrates integrity, honesty and a commitment to excellence in every area of work
- Is a committed team player but can work independently when required
- Is able to communicate well with people of different ages, gender, cultural, social and economic backgrounds and is mature and comfortable discussing sensitive health and life style issues
- Shows acceptance and compassion to the disadvantaged and marginalized
- Has initiative and willingness to develop and expand knowledge and skill base
- QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Mature Christian
- Report writing
- Excellent in Khmer, good in English
- Working experience in rural communities
- Computer Microsoft office
- Facilitation of trainings and meetings
- Good team player and works well in a support role with others
- Experience in working with local churches
