Provincial Coordinator
Duties
- Oversight and strategic leadership of Awareness Cambodia offices, programmes and projects in Kampong Speu province. Building a competent team working in a cooperative and a supportive work environment
- Develop a significant presence and participate in all appropriate Cambodian government agencies (Provincial level). Maintain good relationships with other International and Khmer NGOs and UN agencies working in the Kompong Speu province. Seek to work collaboratively and nurture positive relations with established community departments for maximum impact
- Ensure programmes are resourced and implemented whilst ensuring maximum sustainable outcomes Regular critical reflection of all projects and programmes with strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Demonstrate initiative, creativity and self-motivation
- Ensure that the projects prioritize and operate within the ACI’s Child Protection Policy
- Identify avenues to further ACI’s impact whilst staying within the organization vision, mission, and core values
- Initially the Provincial Coordinator will directly manage one of our child development homes
Requirements
- Completion of relevant University degree (strongly preferred), or equivalent high-level skills and abilities developed through a combination of relevant education, training and senior management experience
- Minimum of 8 years management experience. Ability to work well with national & international staff, a passion for capacity building, and staff development. Must have previous experience supervising staff and leadership skills
- High levels in both written and oral English
- Good communication and partnership building skills
- Computer literacy; MS Office and email
- Demonstrated experience in programme design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing
- Human Resource Development Skills
- Committed Christian with evidence of a mature faith
