Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Duties
- The Monitoring and Evaluation manager is responsible for ensuring the quality delivery of PEPY’s Programs. Key responsibilities includ
- Work with the Senior Program Manager and Program Development Consultant to create monitoring and program evaluation tools and strategies for each PEPY program. Tools and strategies should be focused on program improvement
- Oversee the collection of baseline data
- Develop a comprehensive tracking systems for youth and students in PEPY programs, with built-in analysis tools
- Support program managers in the implementation of data collection and monitoring tools
- Ensure high quality data collection and organization
- Contribute to the design and refinement of new and current PEPY programs with the Senior Program Manager and Program Development Consultant
- Create quarterly monitoring reports with recommendations for program improvement
- Conduct / organize periodic program evaluations and ensure that findings are used to facilitate continuous improvement
- Build the capacity of all staff on effective program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Act as a key liaison to communications team for reporting on both successes and failures with donors
- This position is based in Kralanh District, Siem Reap Province and reports to the Senior Program Manager. As this is a management position, this job description must be read and followed along with the general PEPY Manager Job Description document
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field, Masters degree preferred
- At least 5 years experience in M&E
- Proven experience in developing Monitoring and Evaluation systems, including experience designing databases, quantitative surveys, qualitative interview guides, and analytic tools.
- Experience training staff on M&E topics
- Advanced knowledge of the key principles of monitoring and evaluation tools and experience implementing a variety of M&E methods and approaches (including qualitative, quantitative and participatory) planning and implementation of M&E
- Strong research skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and SPSS or other data analysis software
- Experience managing databases and quality control
- Excellent management, facilitation and communication skills
- The ability to analyze and write project reports in English
