Duties + Requirements
Artistic Director
 
  Duties
  • Oversee the curation of arts programs for the whole festival
  • Developstheplan and budget for the artistic programs, according to the outline given by the Executive Producers
  • Develops the concept of the one day artists seminar and work with the Festival Producer to make it happen
  • Acts as a spokesperson for the festival's artistic purpose via speaking engagements, public and social appearances, and, as requested, at fundraising events and solicitations
  • Fosters the development of good relations with other arts organizations/association
  • Reports to the Executive Producers on a regular basis to give an update on artistic activities
  • Work with the Festival Producer and Marketing & Communication Manager to sign off the aesthetics of the marketing and communications documents produced for CYAF
  • Works with the Producer to produce the opening and closing ceremonies
  • Selects the performances for the outdoor and indoor stages
  • Works with the Visual Arts Manager to create a dynamic exhibition
  • Supporting the fundraiser with fundraising as required (for example in proposal development or donor relations)
  Requirements
  • Commitment to excellence in the arts and a passion for Cambodian arts as well as knowledge of Cambodian history, culture, and diversity
  • At least one year experience programming and curating the arts festival plus involvement with arts sectors
  • Fluent written and spoken Khmer
  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Effective delegator, experience of leading teams an advantage
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent short- and long-term planning skills; proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and the ability to meet deadlines

 
Logistics Team Coordinator
 
  Duties
  • Work with Marketing & Communication Team to recruit volunteers and manage them
  • Venue decoration in consultation with Marketing & Communications Manager
  • Meet the needs of logistics of other teams such as snack, drinking water, etc. during the festival
  • Assist the Workshop Coordinator and Festival Producer to organize the workshop in public schoolsand Seminar
  • Organize the security for the festival
  • General duties as requested from the Festival Producer
  • BUDGETS AND FINANCE
    • Prepare the budget plan and manage it accurately by monitoring it throughout the expenses related to the job implementation during the festival
    • Prepare the financial reports to ensure efficient use of funds

    Workshop Coordinator
     
      Duties
    • Plan the workshop programme of CYAF in consultation with the Producer & Artistic Director
    • Work with arts partners who are the workshop presenter and the state schools in developing workshop plans, schedules, budgets, and preparing materials in order to let the workshops run smoothly and efficiently
    • Work with the state schools to ensure full engagement in the workshop programme of CYAF
    • Implement the workshop programme of CYAF to a high standard level
    • Manage all stages of the workshop process such as confirming the schools for the workshop spaces and for any needs for the workshops
    • Coordinate with the Visual Arts Manager to connect visual arts programme with the workshop activities in schools
    • Join the meeting when requested by the Festival Producer or other teams of the festival
    • Prepare and submit the report of the workshops to the Festival Producer in a week after the festival ended
    • Work closely with the Festival Producer to create the evaluation forms for the workshops.
      Requirements
    • Experience working with and supporting artists for the workshops organization or similar events
    • Strong knowledge of and passion for community-based arts practice
    • Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently
    • Resourcefulness in solving problems
    • Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Strong work ethic
    • Fluent written and spoken Khmer

    Production Assistant
     
      Duties
    • Support the Producer and Artistic Director to produce the artists seminar event
    • Support the Producer and Artistic Director to produce the opening and closing ceremonies
    • Ensure that the special needs of all festival participants are prepared for
    • Act as a dedicated project production assistant on festivals and other tasks as requested
    • Call production meetings and other internal and external meetings as requested
    • Provide administrative support to the Festival Producer, Artistic Director, and Executive Producers as needed
      Requirements
    • Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and independently
    • Resourcefulness in solving problems
    • Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
