Aide au Developpement Gembloux (ADG) (www.ong-adg.be) is an NGO based at Gembloux, Belgium and active in the agricultural sector at Kompong Speu since 2001. ADG is currently supporting an agricultural cooperative of farmers, the PUAC (www.puac.info). ADG is having an MoU with the Ministry of Foreign Affair of the Royal Government of Cambodia. In 2010, ADG is launching a new project aiming at improving the economic, nutritional and social security of family scale farmers of Kompong Speu province. The Project is part of the EC fund for Food Facility, program registered at the Council for Development of Cambodia.

The Project is divided in four components (1) the establishment of 25 village rice banks (2) the improvement of water access through the delivery of 250 micro irrigations systems and 25 small scale irrigation schemes (3) the provision of 125 technical trainings in agriculture to groups of farmers (4) the support to PUAC in developing its post-harvest and marketing processes.

This project belongs to a broader program implemented by five NGOs and leaded by GRET (France) The Project has a time frame of 18 months between March 2010 and October 2011.
