ANGKORTEL INVESTMENT Co., LTD is a newly Cambodian initiative Construction and Real Estate Company based in Paris, France. With an excellent opportunity, we operate first, in Siem Reap Angkor and Phnom Penh capital, Pailin, and Battambang. Our aim is to extend our Construction Service to the whole Cambodian Territory and others Asean countries. We provide the Quality Construction, European Standard, and Guarantee for all of works.

We provide the Global Master Plan to all kinds of Construction Services:

  • Construction of House, Villa, Office, Hotel, Guesthouse, Factory Construction, Big Building, Tower Construction,
  • Bridge and Road Construction,
  • All Underground Construction such as Underground Parking, Underground Foundation and all underground works,
  • All Engineering services, Provide all kinds of Building Calculation Works,
  • Architecture Service, all kinds of new Building Design.

We are urgently looking for a High Motivated, Dynamic Cambodian Architect to join our team in Phnom Penh Office. He/she will work in mirror with our team in Paris.

Duties + Requirements
Architect Team Leader
  • Architect works in the construction industry and is involved with designing new buildings, extensions or alterations to existing buildings, or advising on the restoration and conservation of old properties. He/she can work on individual buildings or on large redevelopment schemes, and can be responsible for the design of the surrounding landscape and spaces
  • Architect works closely with their client and users to make sure that project designs match their needs and are functional, safe and economical. He/she usually controls a project from start to finish and work with a number of construction professionals, including surveyors and engineers, producing drawings and specifications that the construction team works to
  • Typical work activities
    • Architect is involved from the earliest stages of a building project, which can start with developing ideas with the client, establishing budgets, assessing the needs of the building and its users, and its impact within the local environment
    • He/she assists with site selection and work closely with contractors on site, ensuring that works are carried out to specific standards and that, above all, the building is sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing
  • Activities can be vary but typically include
    • Discussing the objectives, requirements and budget of a project
    • Consulting with other professionals about the design of an environment
    • Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals to the client
    • Advising the client on the practicality of their project
    • Using IT in design and project management, specifically using computer-aided design software
    • Keeping within financial budgets and deadlines
    • Producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications
    • Specifying the nature and quality of materials required
    • Preparing tender applications and presentations
    • Negotiating with contractors and other professionals
    • Preparing applications for planning and building control departments
    • Preparing tender documents for contracts
    • Project managing and helping to coordinate the work of contractors
    • Controlling a project from start to finish
    • Regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget
    • Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction
    • Ensuring that the environmental impact of the project is managed
    • Graduate from Architecture University
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
    • High levels of creativity, imagination and vision
    • A keen interest in the built environment and the dedication to see projects to their conclusion
    • Willingness to work long hours, under time and budget pressure
    • Excellent design and drafting skills and proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD)
    • Strong mathematical skills
    • A keen eye for the detail of specific tasks, combined with an understanding of how such specifics fit in with the project as a whole
    • Organisational, project management and planning skills, including the ability to juggle multiple tasks
    • An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving ability
    • Leadership skills as well as the ability to work well within a team of other professionals
    • Experience
      • 1 year working experience in Professional Architecture Cabinet is an added advantage¬†
      • Already participated in some construction architecture project
