Duties + Requirements
Community Forestry Zone Manager
 
  Duties
  • He/she is responsible for design and implementation of field-based technical assistance and trainings as related to sustainable forestry management and NTFP value-chain development.
  • He/she will work to increase the capacity and effectiveness of community-based organizations (e.g., community forestry, community protected areas) as well as local farmers working in forest communities
  Requirements
  • B.Sc. (preferably a M.Sc.) in forestry science or related field
  • Strong professional background (at least five years) working in activities related to agro forestry, tree nurseries/planting, and NTFP value chains, and experience at land-use planning with forest communities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and Khmer preferred, along with strong communications/computer skills
