Duties + Requirements

Internal Audit Officer

Duties

Ensure outputs of work done will meet or beyond the expectation
Ensure all works compliance against all new approved policies documents
Ensure good understanding of changes and development and related risks under areas of responsibilities
Ensure understanding of extent of risks indentified and acquiring additional procedures to support accurate risks assessments
Ensure that all work done is documented in the work program with clear conclusions
Participate in the conduct of regular compliance checks of Operations, Finance, HR and MIS other policies through rapid audits of selected locations/issues
Contribute to strategies for the improvement of overall internal audit works such as policies, process and reporting output toward achieving the quality and quantity of the audit
Ensure proper completion of the audit checklist that forms the basis for audit opinion
Participate in issuing audit opinion of areas under responsibility

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance and Banking or related fields
Previous experience relate to microfinance, banking or audit work would be advantage
A strong work ethic, and ability to work independently without close supervision
Good interpersonal communication and problem solving skills and ability to relate well to others
Good spoken and written communication in Khmer and English
Interest in regular travelling to the provinces in conduct of the internal audit
