Duties + Requirements
Project Coordinator
 
  Duties
  • Meets regularly with project staffs for group discussion/coordination/planning and for ‘one to one’ consultations
  • Provide management and technical support to project staffs
  • Establish/maintain data collection systems and accordance with the agreed project, so as to ensure that essential data is regularly reported
  • Assist in develop project proposals and strategic planning
  • Facilitates in problems solving and decision making in the project aspects
  • Review the quality aspects of project implementation with the aim of modifying approaches and methods used in order to improve the impact of activities
  • Assist Executive Director in annual report writing
  Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in the field of agriculture and/or rural development
  • A minimum of three years working experience with NGOs related to project management especially, agriculture/livelihood project
  • Knowledge on report writing
  • Previous experience in project proposal and/or concept paper development to donors
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellence English both spoken and written
  • Be able to work well under a pressure situation
  • Computer literate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint program
