Requirements

EDUCATION

Masters or Bachelor degree with honors’ or equivalent in communications, social sciences, development, or a related discipline

EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years of related professional experience in social marketing, project implementation and management, planning, networking, coordinating, monitoring and evaluation
Experience supervising and managing staff
Demonstrated experience in organizational assessment, capacity building and training organization
Experience researching development issues
Experience in behavioral change communications will be a strong asset
Proven experience in strategic development of communications campaigns and communications tools
Proven experience developing and managing mass media campaigns and events
Previous experience in work with boys and men for gender equality and violence prevention will be a strong asset
Previous experience working in women in politics will be a strong asset
Experience developing and working with a network of partners on a communications campaign in a development context

SKILLS

Advanced analytical thinking skills
Proven management and public speaking/presentation skills

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Proven verbal and written skills in English communications: writing project proposal, reports and documentation, holding press conferences, etc
Spanish and Khmer desirable
