Board of Directors
Duties
- The role of the HRTF Board of Directors is to oversee and assist the HRTF Secretariat’s administrative work. Members of the Board have the following roles, powers and responsibilities
- Attend quarterly Board meetings;
- Assist the HRTF-Secretariat with fundraising;
- Give advice on and support to HRTF’s strategic planning;
- Support the development of HRTF working policies and approve internal policies;
- Participate in the Annual General Meeting as well as in special Board and members meetings;
- Hire, dismiss and conduct performance review of the Director of Secretariat
- Settle grievances and disputes among member organisations and among Secretariat staff;
- Approve quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial reports;
- ALL MEMBERS OF THE BOARD
- Perform their tasks on a voluntary basis without salary and in their individual capacity;
- Are elected for a period of two years;
- Must sign a conflict of interest form and abide by the confidentiality policy.
Requirements
- Members of the Boards hall have an expressed interest the work of HRTF and experience in fields related to one or several of the following sectors: housing, land, human rights, advocacy, project management, finance, strategic thinking. Both local and international candidates are encouraged to apply; long-term association and experience working in Cambodia is an advantage
